Feeding and mixing of powdered activated carbon for flue gas cleaning.

During the operation of incineration plant and steelworks, flue gases are produced and they contain polluting substances like dioxin or PCB. In the EU there are strict emission standards.

Gericke offers with its continuous conveying and feeding of powdered activated carbon (PAC), a reliable and efficient solution to reduce the emissions due to flue gas. These systems are made for steelworks or incineration plants.

Advantages

The Gericke system enables the controlled, and continuous feeding of the powdered activated carbon in the canal. A static mixer mixes the carbon amount with the gas mixture and secures an efficient mixture of the active carbon and the toxic substances. The emission fall below the authorised limits.

Gericke delivers the systems ready to use, the silo, the feeding system, the pneumatic conveying system, the mixer control system, the assembly and the commissioning are included. The systems follows the ATEX regulations.
