Establishment of Gericke Brasil Ltda. in Sao Paulo (BR).

115th anniversary of Gericke - Today, powder handling and processing as well as customer satisfaction still urge us on with regard to our vision for the future and involvement in our activities. Our customers benefit from our performance with regard to innovation, this certainly being a key factor for Gericke's success. This is reflected by the recent new products and improved designs of machines that have been launched to the market.

For its jubilee year, Gericke has expanded and rebuilt its famous Test Center in Regensdorf and conducts comprehensive customer trials on conveying, feeding, mixing and sieving equipment.

100th anniversary of Gericke - Centenary celebration 5 May in Regensdorf and unveiling of new steel sculpture (20 tonnes) by Silvio Mattioli, fabricated in Gericke factories.

Son of Hermann Gericke, Markus H. Gericke (fourth generation) starts with company.

Acquisition of Solids Handling BV in Hoevelaken, since 1993 Gericke BV NL.

Production of centrifugal sifters and nibblers in Manschester (UK).
Production and sales of pneumatic dense-phase conveyers (licensed by Sturtevant and Braun-Angott) with pressure tanks manufactured in Regensdorf (CH).

Production and sales of screw feeders with homogenisers in modular design (licensed by Acrison).

Company taken over by the sons of the founder, Walter Hugo and Otto Helmut Gericke (second generation).
Factory and offices moved to the newly purchased property at Sihlquai 75 in Zurich (CH).

1894

Establishment of W. Gericke, milling machinery factory, by Walther Hermann Gericke based in the industrial district of Zurich at Konradstrasse 39 (CH).

Since its establishment the company's major focus has been on bulk materials handling, with sales of equipment for grain mills, feed mills and breweries. Specialty: Soder milling gear; manufacture of vertical mixers with a central screw.
